Natalie & Jason

Hello Golden Pineapple Followers!

Happy New Year! This time of year gives everyone in our industry time to reflect on the previous year’s events. We absolutely love what we saw in 2019 but its time for 2020 Weddings to shine! However, I wanted to feature one of my favorite weddings from 2019. Natalie & Jason were wed on November 2nd at Villa Woodbine. It was an absolutely flawless day in every way. It is rare that a wedding professional says that a wedding went perfectly, there is always at least one thing that pops up unexpectedly. But not with this wedding, every last thing went smoothly and it was an absolutely stunning day!

Natalie & Jason decided to not have a bridal party! It was an extremely refreshing difference from all of our other weddings!

De La Flora did an incredible job bringing in large arrangements that helped tie everything together! The acrylic signs from Do Tell added an elegant depth to the space!

The ceremony space was breath taking. The display of foliage at Villa Woodbine was a huge inspiration for this. The space did not need much décor at all, we added in the floral arch, walnut chairs, a chandelier and candles for romance! This gorgeous Bride walked down the aisle to Big Jet Plane by Angus & Julia Stone, it was pure magic.

What was so unique about this wedding was the location. Based off of space and guest count we used the same space for Ceremony and Reception. Which meant a huge flip during cocktail hour! It was actually a ton of fun. Everyone worked beautifully together, we were a well oiled machine!

For the reception we used a large range of textures to support classic and neutral tones. There were gorgeous long farm tables with spilling florals and ivory satin covered rounds. We wanted the space to really speak for itself. With a show stopping tree and chandelier there was no need to draw the eye up and more. Hence why the centerpieces are low and dramatic!

The arch was extremely heavy so it was not going anywhere. However it was the perfect backdrop for a romantic head table!

Best part about this venue is the multiple rooms you can use! We had a bar/lounge room, where there was beautiful vintage furniture and a fun photo booth. On the other side was Villa Woodbines dining room, featuring a stunning fireplace. This served as our dessert and coffee room! The cake was center stage, but it was Italian cookie and pastry galore! De La Flora creating a stunning display on the fireplace, hung florals from the chandelier and had low arrangements on the table to tie it all together!
