Hello our Golden Pineapple Ladies and Gents!

We have been overwhelmed with the amount of love and support from all of our past, present and future Golden Pineapple Couples. And we can not thank you all enough! As our company grows and our couple’s weddings get bigger, we thought it was the perfect time to add to our family! I am so excited to introduce our newest Golden Pineapple Team Member… (drumroll please) Madison Taylor! Madie for short J She has been with our team since March; now that the hustle and bustle of wedding season is over here is what we learned about her so far!

Madie was born and raised in Basking Ridge, New Jersey with her parents and three sisters. She discovered her passion for baking at a young age which was encouraged & taught by her grandmother. When the family relocated to sunny South Florida in her teens, her love for events flourished. Madie took her passions and ran with them straight to The Culinary Institute of America in New York for her Associate’s in Baking & Pastry Arts. During her time at CIA, Madie was active in student life as a Resident Assistant where she planned many fun events for her students across campus. She later completed an Externship with the Pink Cake Box, a boutique specialty bakery where she discovered her unique patience, talent and love for custom cakes. As she was preparing to graduate from the Associates program, with a fast track to her Bachelor’s, she was offered a once in a lifetime opportunity to work as a Pastry Manager in Training at the French fine dining restaurant on CIA’s Campus.

Madie finished her education earning her BBA in Food Business Management with a Concentration in Asian Cuisines while working fulltime as the Pastry Manager in Training at The Bocuse Restaurant. Also, during her Bachelor’s studies at the CIA, she studied abroad in Singapore, where she also traveled to some of her bucket list locations including Australia, Bali, India, Thailand and Cambodia. Once Madie returned to the Hyde Park, NY campus, she focused on her last semester of college, during this time she was elected the General Manager for her class’ Senior Charity Event (a capstone required by those seeking a Bachelor’s degree). During the months of planning she just knew that event planning was in her blood. After graduation Madie broke into the industry as a Sales & Marketing Administrator —where not long after she was promoted to a Sales Manager.

Now as a part of the Golden Pineapple team, her creativity, experience and intuitive nature is a huge asset to our team. When Madie isn’t coordinating weddings or posting our Instagram recaps she is spending time with family and friends, while growing her own custom desserts business! Her goal is to make couple’s wedding fantasies come true whether that be through executing an exquisite event or by captivating their hearts with their wedding cake!
